Dock tax clarification

The Port Authority originally approached the Association to obtain access to assess the docks. We sought legal counsel to determine if their request was legitimate. The opinion we subsequently received confirmed that they do have the appropriate authority. The Association has granted access to the Port Authority to permit the assessments to be carried out in accordance with legislation.

This is not a levy imposed by the Association. If there any queries concerning this or any other tax related matters please approach the appropriate government department. If any new pertinent information becomes available, we will circulate it.
